When properly sized, zeolite is absorbed through the small intestine (villi). Pure Body undergoes a proprietary process to create a particle size of 0.4 microns (mean average) so the majority of particles are smaller than 0.2 microns for absorption via the small intestine for a body detox, while the remainder helps to detox the gut.
Why so small? Because zeolites do not dissolve in water, they cannot use water as the absorption mechanism and must rely on size alone to get into the bloodstream.
